We have worked with Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) providing ecological and environmental management support for the removal of the overhead line and undergrounding of cables in the Cairngorms National Park.
Works included dismantling and remove the existing overhead line and undergrounding of the cable.
Ellendale Environmental ecologists and ECoW provided ecological surveys to identify constraints such as badgers and nesting osprey.
